Buffs
A lasting +1 Might, one per unit
Earlier we said a unit's Might is the number on its card. That's where it starts, and since then you've seen cards change it for a while: 's +2 for a turn, or Assault while a unit attacks. A buff changes it for longer.

, a legend, says ", : Buff a friendly
unit." To a unit, put a buff on it: a counter, a die or a
buff card from a booster pack. A unit with a buff has +1 .
What makes a buff different
- It stays. A buff isn't "this turn". It stays on the unit turn after turn, until the unit leaves the table.
- One per unit. A unit with a buff can't get another. Buffing it again does nothing, and anything that would happen "if it was buffed this way" doesn't.
- It comes off when the unit leaves. Killed, or returned to its owner's hand, the unit loses its buff, and comes back without one.
Some cards ask you to spend a buff: take it off one of your units, and it loses the +1 that came with it. You can only spend a buff from a unit you control that has one.
Try it
Buff a unit, end the turn, and see that the buff is still there.
