Legion
Cards that get better as the second card you play

says "Legion: I cost less." Its
reminder explains it: "Get the effect if you've played another card this turn."
That's . Play another card first, and the Hopeful costs 2
instead of 4.
What counts
Any other card you've played this turn: a unit, a gear or a spell, from your hand or your champion. It doesn't have to be in play still, or to have done anything.
A card counts as played once it's on the chain. So a spell your opponent counters still counts, even though it never took effect. Using an ability doesn't count: that isn't playing a card.
When it ends
"This turn" means it starts again every turn. The card you played last turn doesn't count. And one card is enough for every Legion you have that turn: play one card, and all of them are on.
Try it
Play a spell, have it countered, and see that it still turns on Legion.
